The Zafimaniry

The Zafimaniry woodcraft inscribed by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage recalls the depth of the Malagasy link between material, architecture and use. MEDUSA proposes a contemporary dialogue with it, without reproducing its codes.

The documentation does not stay in the workshop. Every piece in the catalogue comes with a case gathering what was recorded about it.

    The path of the material, from fossil trunk to finished piece.
